About the game right now

Hey,
As you may know, Combat Company stoped working on Google Chrome browser (If it did not stop working for you, thats because your chrome didn't install the automatic updates), for some reason, in this chrome version it's blocking the download where the game file is hosted (onedrive).

I had to act quickly to find a work around, and the best solution was to host it from kongregate, at least it's working from there. It would be perfect if they don't restrict to 20 MB only, and the game has like 26Mb...

Unfortunately I had to delete one map (And i'm sure was teh best map in combat company), and it was Contra... I've also to reduce some texture quality.

For now it will stay like that, hosted in kongregate, and once I find a good host where the game works I'll put back both Contra and Dust (Which got removed before).

At least there is a good new. For those who got limited bandwidth, or a slow speed connection, the caching seems to be back working, so once the game loads completely it no longer need to be re-downloaded next time you open the game (exept if the game got updated).

You can host it on other cloud storage services like Mega, dropbox or google drive.

Dropbox has bandwidth restrictions, I remember once when dropbox closed the game until the next day, and btw it no longer works. Same as google drive. About mega i've never tried before, but I do believe that they don't provide direct downloads.

Man, why don't you try CPanel, you'll have to pay once in a year but it can garantee you unlimited MB game host.

You just need a membership in Mega.co.nz .
You can upload upto 50GB then .

The point here is not huge amount of space. I just need like 30 mb maximum. The goal here if find a service which provides DIRECT downloads. Nevermind.

Chrome has actually been pretty weird for me in general, it runs very SLOW for me
